With gentle spring breezes and the revival of all life, the Wanlong Spring Fun Sports Meeting kicked off with vibrant energy on March 24. The Wanlong team members, who usually devote themselves to their work with dedication, transformed into "fun enthusiasts" on the field, igniting the arena with laughter and enthusiasm.
Under the theme "United Hearts, Fun Together," the event featured three exciting activities: Pitch-Pot, Cup Stacking Relay, and Giant Steps. It was not only a test of physical strength but also a celebration of wisdom and collaboration.
Pitch-Pot: A Single Throw to Make the Difference
At the Pitch-Pot area, 30 participants were divided into three teams of 10, each given three attempts per person, with the team achieving the highest
cumulative score declared the winner. With focused concentration, precision and skill became essential.
An arrow landing entirely inside the pot earned 10 points, resting on the rim earned 5 points, and falling outside yielded none. It was a true test of accuracy and composure, making every throw thrilling to watch.
Cup Stacking Relay: Clever Hands in a Race for Stability and Speed
Thirty participants were split into three groups of 10 for a relay challenge. At the start, cups were stacked in a single pile. The first team member had to arrange the cups into three rows in a 3-2-1 pyramid formation. The next team member then restored them back to a single stack. This process continued until all members had completed the task, with the fastest team winning.
Demanding both speed and precision, a single slip could undo all progress. The arena buzzed with cheers and encouragement, and each successful stack drew enthusiastic applause.
Giant Steps: Moving Forward in Perfect Sync
Eighteen participants formed three teams of six, with their feet strapped to long strips of fabric, transforming them into "giants." At the whistle, the teams moved forward in sync to the rhythm of their own chants. The challenge required all members to cross the finish line, testing not just speed but also team coordination and rhythm. At the finish line, everyone worked together to push forward. In that moment, victory and defeat faded into the background, replaced by the joy of moving as one.
This sports meeting was more than just a contest of physical strength and skill—it was a showcase of teamwork and unity. Amidst the laughter, participants grew closer,
and through challenges, their trust in each other deepened. Every member of the Wanlong family shone brightly as the star of the event.
