How do valves achieve zero leakage? The secret lies in the first line of defense

In industrial systems, valves may seem inconspicuous, but they act as the "throat" controlling fluid flow. The sealing performance of a valve directly determines whether it can securely guard this critical passage! Once seal failure leads to medium leakage, the consequences can range from resource waste to safety incidents or even environmental pollution...

Therefore, the reliability of valve sealing is paramount. Superior sealing not only prevents medium leakage and ensures system safety but also effectively extends the valve's service life.

When it comes to valves with exceptional sealing capabilities, Wanlong's bellow globe valves deserve special mention. Our independently developed bellow globe valves have obtained SIL 2/3 and TA-LUFT certifications, making Wanlong the only domestic enterprise in China to achieve these credentials.

Wanlong's bellow globe valves, with their unique bellow seal structure, fundamentally address the common leakage risks associated with traditional valves.

Primary Seal

The built-in metal bellow completely isolates the medium from the valve stem, ensuring zero external leakage.

First Auxiliary Seal

Utilizing flexible graphite braided packing, it offers excellent thermal stability, self-lubrication, and corrosion resistance. This layer serves as a backup safety barrier. Its main role is no longer to bear the primary sealing task but to provide emergency sealing in the rare event of bellow rupture, preventing large-scale medium leakage and enhancing safety. It also protects the bellow from external dust and corrosive substances.

Second Auxiliary Seal

When the valve is fully open, the chamfer of the lower valve stem contacts the bottom of the stuffing box, providing sealing and limiting functions. Multiple layers of sealing safeguard the first line of defense against valve leakage. Designed specifically for harsh conditions involving toxic, hazardous, flammable, and explosive media.

Additionally, the bellow in Wanlong's bellow globe valves is typically made of high-performance metals such as stainless steel, formed through hydraulic shaping and multi-layer design. It boasts exceptional fatigue resistance, with a cyclic lifespan reaching tens of thousands of cycles. The overall structure avoids wear between the valve stem and packing, significantly extending the valve's service life and maintenance intervals.
